JIRA – Reporting Queries

Over the past few years, I had been trying to self learn using various forums, blogs and Atlassian documentation to learn about creating queries, filters on top of the queries and saving to dashboards. Here are some JQueries i had used during my experience. I am hoping these will be useful for someone who are looking for help –

Query for Query
Shows issues which are due beyond the current week Project = “project name” AND issuetype = Story AND duedate > endOfWeek
Shows issues which are in a status for more than 10 days Project = “project name” AND issuetype = Story AND status changed to “Development” before -10d AND status = “Development”
Shows stories in open status order by date created Project = “project name” AND issuetype = Story AND status = Open ORDER BY created ASC
Shows stories are due for closure by end of the current month Project = “project name” AND issuetype = Story AND status = Open AND duedate <= endOfMonth()
Importing issues from a .csv file https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/importing-data-from-csv-776636762.html
Shows epics within a date range and status is NOT closed project = project name AND duedate >= ‘2017-08-01’ AND status != ‘CLOSED’ AND duedate <= ‘2017-08-31’ ORDER BY due DESC
Issues past due project in (“project name”) AND issuetype = Story AND duedate < now() AND status not in (closed, resolved)
Audit stories not closed for more than 90 days from created date project = “project name” AND issuetype = Story AND summary ~ “AUD*” AND created < -90d AND status != CLOSED

I will be able to add more as and when I learn and write more queries for more business or reporting situations. So more to come..
